graduation1I’ve paid my dues
Time after time.
I’ve done my sentence
But committed no crime.
And bad mistakes ‒
I’ve made a few.
I’ve had my share of sand kicked in my face
But I’ve come through.

We are the champions, my friend
and we’ll keep on fighting til the end.

Saturday was our Celebration Event. We graduated  and I couldn’t be more ecstatic! Of course we had challenges…

There were people who showed up late, unprepared and grumpy. I was disappointed and let down by some of my classmates.  An event like this brings out the best and worst in people.

I was fortunate to also see the best. I have classmates that went above and beyond, you know who you are.

Ultimately, it worked out. Our class treated each other with respect and I feel we worked  extremely well together. We laughed and offered each other help and support.

I have no profound words of wisdom or poem that sums up my experience at the Natural Epicurean. There were ups and downs, good days and bad days and everything in between.

I treasure my experience at The Natural Epicurean. I would do it over and over again. I’m not the same person who started this journey bright eyed and bushy tailed 6 months ago. I’m a better cook, I have a deeper love of food and I have ultimately been, transformed.

My life is forever changed.
